Vetiver by Guerlain was launched 2000.
A really lovely summer scent for the clean and delicate gentleman. Contains very high quality vetiver oil, which really lasts on my skin (around 12 hours), the sillage is really choice on this perfume. Starts off with a citric blast of bergamot and lemony notes, which then promptly makes way for the star of the show, the vetiver. Base notes contain tonka bean, walnuts, and a tobacco note. If you've never tried a vetiver based fragrance, you really can't go wrong with this, vetiver is calming and grassy, a very fresh smell, and very unique. Released in 1961, Vetiver has stood the test of time, a fresh and clean fragrance great for spring and summer weather, but in truth versatile enough to be used throughout the year. If you want a signature scent for this summer, give this one a go without hessitation.
