Kenzo Aftershave & Men's Fragrance

Kenzo was founded in 1970 by Japanese designer Takada Kenzo, who moved to Paris in 1964. His first shop was called “Jungle Jap” and set the tone for his fashion endeavours, showing more avant-garde traits than was the norm, which made Kenzo's fashion line for women renown for its quirky prints and colour combinations. Kenzo may now be owned by LVMH (Louis Vuitton, Moët, Hennessy), but the brand certainly hasn't lost that quirky sense of avant-garde fashion thanks to designers like Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, who stay true to the avant-garde essence of Kenzo.

In 1983 Kenzo took his first step towards men's fashion, introducing a fashion line for the discerningly modern man. This of course took some time to develop, but he soon saw an opportunity which would also allow him to expand towards a kids and home collection. This expansion eventually lead to Kenzo's retirement in 1999, though he is still involved in the brand and is often found toying with ideas and designs for any- and everything Kenzo.

Kenzo introduced his first men's fragrance in 1991, Kenzo Pour Homme, an aromatically aquatic fragrance which came in a very modernist blue bottle and presentation box. Some other popular men's fragrances include the warm and spicy Jungle Homme (1998), the aromatic and citrusy L'Eau Par Kenzo Pour Homme (1999), the fresh and woody Tokyo (2007), the woody and aromatic L'Eau Par Kenzo Eau Indigo (2009), the spicy fresh Kenzo Homme Sport (2012) and many more.
