Lamborghini Aftershave & Men's Fragrance

Lamborghini is an Italian sports car manufacturer and luxury brand. The company was founded in 1963 and remains one of the most coveted car makes in the world. They launched their first fragrance, Lamborghini Pour Homme, in 1999.

When Ferruccio Lamborghini started the company in the early 60's it was with one simple goal; to create the fastest and most refined sports car in Italy. By this time Ferrucio was already an industrial magnate. He had a simple upbringing in a family of grape farmers and made his fortune by constructing tractors. A born tinkerer, he loved buying cars and taking them apart and while in the army he became known for his skill with a wrench. When Ferrari became well known for their sports cars in the late 50's, Lamborghini was impressed but soon became convinced he could create a better car using technologies he had developed for his tractor company. He saw Ferraris as too noisy and not resilient enough, essentially a racing car that was not meant to be driven around on regular roads. Using his own tractor parts, Lamborghini set about manufacturing his own luxury car, a so-called Gran Turismo, a high-performing type of sports car capable of long trips on all kinds of roads. The Lamborghini Miura P400 was the brand's first major success and remains a classic car. Lamborghini has since gone on to become one of the major luxury car manufacturers in the world and the name is synonymous with high performance and the utmost quality. Aside from the legendary Miura, some of their most well-known models include Murcielago, Diablo and Aventador.

The first Lamborghini fragrance for men was the elegantly spicy and aromatic Lamborghini Pour Homme. The scent comes in a fetching bottle reminiscent of the brand's classic cars and the scent itself is a mix of citrus fruit, pepper, juniper, coriander and sage on a base of pinewood and orris root. Other notable examples of Lamborghini cologne are Overall (2004), a citric aromatic in a stopwatch-themed bottle and Lamborghini Classico (2013), a blend of passion fruit, lemon, herbs and lavender on a woody benzoin base. Lamborghini aftershave and fragrances are sometimes released under the name Tonino Lamborghini.
