A mythical name since 1889, Lanvin is a well renowned brand in the world of fashion and fragrance.
Jeanne Lanvin’s career began when she attracted the attention of a number of wealthy people who after seeing the beautiful designs she was making for her children requested her to make clothes for them. Soon, some of the most famous names in Europe were included in Jeanne’s clientele. In the 1920s, Lanvin opened shops devoted to home decor, menswear, furs and lingerie, but her most significant expansion was the creation of Lanvin Parfums in 1924 and the introduction of her signature fragrance Arpège in 1927
This was a blind buy for my husband after reading the reviews. Did not dissapoint! First thoughts are a refreshing shower but after a few minutes it becomes kind of creamy and smooth but not heavy. Perfect for day and night.
Classic nineties scent, classy and subtle, not overpowering, bargain at the price too.
Fresh aromatic with ozonic and woodsy notes (cypres, juniper, pine). Strong on the beginning, skin scent when settles. Very good longevity for the fresh scent.
