Versace Aftershave & Men's Fragrance

Versace is an Italian fashion company, founded in 1978 by Gianni Versace, producing clothes for men and women, house furnishings, accessories, makeup and fragrances. Gianni Versace’s collections were inspired by pop-art and ancient Roman and Greek art.

Versace had a variety of celebrity friends, who embraced his creations and proudly wore them at special events and parties. His sister, Donatella Versace, has been representing the brand since her brother’s death in 1997. She is the vice-president as well as chief designer.

The company is famous for being endorsed by several celebrities. Versace’s dresses have been worn on the red carpet and by artists during their live performances. Lady Gaga is a good friend of Donatella Versace and has also been the face of the brand’s campaigns. Furthermore, Elton John and Gianni Versace were very close friends, and when Gianni died, Elton John dedicated the album The Big Picture to him.

Versace’s perfumes include a variety of male and female fragrances. All perfumes are produced with EuroItalia s.r.l which provide consultancy for other brands such as Moschino and Richmond. Versace L’Homme was launched in 1986 and contains intriguing scents, such as patchouli, basil, leather and pimento. Ten years later, Versace launched The Dreamer, a male woody fragrance containing accords of tobacco, juniper and tarragon. Versace Eau Fraiche is a male marine fragrance that releases a scent of saffron and musk once it dries on the skin. The male equivalent of Red Jeans, is Blue Jeans, a sweet, spicy and fresh fragrance composed by notes of basil, lemon, palisander tree and lavender.
