Agent Provocateur Perfume & Women's Fragrance

This relatively new lingerie company was only established in 1994 by Joseph Corré, the son of Vivienne Westwood, a leading British Fashion designer, and his then wife Serena Rees. The first store was opened in Soho, London on Broadwick Street and their aim was to create an availability of high quality designer and colourful lingerie with creative flair after having attempted to source such products from other manufacturers, however unsucessfully.

After the founder and his wife divorced in 2007, Agent Provocateur was purchased by a private equity firm and this was to be the start of the growing success that they continue to have today. Since the takeover, this leading lingerie stockist has expanded into 13 countries with over 60 stores worldwide covering the UK, Europe, Northern & Central America, Russia, The Middle East, Asia and Australia.

In August 2000, Agent Provocateur released their first signature fragrance called Agent Provocateur. The scent was developed to reflect the mission statement of this seductive, sensual company by creating a sharp, intensive almost animalistic scent that is said to be a provocative juice that remains a modern classic today. The fragrance was controversially presented in a porcelain bottle with the shape of an egg that is wonderful to touch and symbolic of the target market.

Following the success of this perfume, many other versions of this seductive scent have been created : Agent Provocateur Eau Emotionnelle (2006), Agent Provocateur Maitresse (2006), Strip (2007), DD Edition (2008), L'Agent (2011) and a selection of sexy new scents in 2012. There have been a long line of celebraity women who have modelled for this fun loving company have included Kylie Minogue (2001) and Kate Moss in 2006 and 2008. Hollywood actress Maggie Gyllenhaal took over from supermodel Kate Moss as the new face for the line in 2007.
