Beyoncé is a legendary American pop star born in 1981. She is known for her many hits, her huge fan following and her marriage to rapper Jay Z. The first Beyoncé perfume was launched in 2010 and has been followed by several more collections as well as special editions.

Beyoncé is also known as Sasha Fierce, Bee, JuJu and Moth but what is Queen Bey’s real name? Born Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter, she was raised in Houston, Texas and was interested in singing and entertaining from an early age. At the age of 7 she received a standing ovation at a local talent competition and from then on Beyoncé’s life has been a whirl of songs, movies, fashion launches, books, tours and red carpet events. At the age of 9 Beyoncé joined Destiny's Child, which her dad managed. Destiny's Child went on to become one of the world's best-selling girl groups. In 2003 Queen B decided to branch out as a solo artist, and in 2005 she split from Destiny's Child. Hits such as Crazy In Love and Deja Vu, which she sang with her husband Jay-Z, were a regular sight on the Top 10. Other early hits were Beautiful Liar, which she sang with Shakira and won “Most Earthshattering Collaboration” at the 2007 MTV Video Music Award for. Massive hits like If I Were A Boy, Halo and Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It) went to the top of the charts in several countries. Beyoncé sang Love on Top in 2011 at the VMAs and then announced her first pregnancy. Beyoncé explained why the name “Lemonade” was chosen for her sixth album by saying “when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade”. The album is about infidelity and how you can deal with it and get over it. Hold Up from the same album caused a media stir as some say this was a song about Jay Z cheating on Beyoncé, other say it is just about rebuilding their relationship. Whatever the song is about, Queen B’s songs definitely have meaning and makes you think and feel.

“The Formation World Tour” was her 7th worldwide concert tour and was kick-started with her performing at Super Bowl 50 half-time show where she sang Formation from her Lemonade album and reunited Destiny's Child.

At the launch of Beyoncé´s first fragrance, Beyoncé Heat, 7 floors at the old Tiffany building in Union Square, Manhattan, were lit up by a red warm glow causing quite a stir. Over 200 guests, including Jay-Z and Usher, was treated to an amazing party where Queen Bey sang “I hope that everyone is ready to catch the fever!” The venue was sexy, sensual, and dramatic – just like Beyoncé Heat.

Beyoncé Heat was a huge success and was shortly followed up by Heat Rush, Midnight Heat and Rise. For Queen B a perfume is a crucial accessory to emphasize your inner radiance, confidence and sex appeal. Beyoncé gives the same attention to her range of fragrances as she does to her music, so you can be sure that with an Beyoncé scent you will always have the very best, most thought out and brilliant composed fragrance that you could wish for.
