Bill Blass Perfume & Women's Fragrance

Bill Blass had fashion in his blood from the get-go. He was the son of a dressmaker and began sewing and selling evening gowns at the age of 15 to a New York manufacturer. When he became 17 he moved to NYC to officially study fashion. In 1970 he bought-out Maurice Rentner Ltd., where he had worked for many years, and renamed it Bill Blass Limited. Over the next 30 years Blass expanded his brand beyond the basics to include swimwear, furs, luggage, perfume and chocolate. In 1999 Blass retired and sold Bill Blass Limited to Michael Groveman and Harest Tharani. Michael Vollbracht has been the house’s head designer ever since.
The Blass house manufactures and sells an impressive list of successful perfumes, including Amazing Woman, Amazing Aftershave cologne for men, Nude for women, Basic Black for women, and the namesake Bill Blass for Women.
