Bond No 9 Perfume & Women's Fragrance

Bond No.9 is a leading American fragrance company that was launched in 2003 as the first and only fragrance company to grace the Streets and Boroughs of New York. Launched by the French born American businesswoman and entrepreneur Laurice Rahmé, who had a keen interest in arts and culture from an early age, Bond No. 9 was created to provide each neighbourhood in New York with it's own scent, almost like marking one's territory and making it instantly stand out from the standard perfumes and become very popular amongst American citizens and a worldwide success virtually overnight.

Bond No. 9 first opened it's doors at 9 Bond Street in NoHo district of Manhattan with 16 original neighbourhood fragrances and to date it boasts 5 boutiques that have been named after the various neighbourhoods where they are based. The brand is also sold in selected upmarket boutiques such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Harrods, Nordstrom, Hudson's Bay, Isetan and the leading French brand and chain of cosmetics stores Sephora.

One of their unique selling points and a contributor to their growing success is the fact that they use English taxis decorated like their bottles to provide transport for their customers and media editors – one of the most successful branding and marketing campaigns to date. Women flock to the stores on a daily basis to become an owner of their neighbourhood's unique scent and Bond No.9 soon became a symbol of good taste with the company priding itself on being edgy, up-to-date, artful and unique.

When the idea of Bond No.9 was originally born, the intention from Ms Rahmé was to make New York the perfume capital of the World and restore artistry to perfumery, something that she had felt had been lacking for a while. Bond No. 9 takes pride in boasting that it uses the best and most unique fragrance oils and ingredients from around the world in their 60 + fragrances and this is reflected in the price and also the attention to detail involved with the bottle design.

Most of the women's fragrances and perfumes have been created by Rahmé with the help of some of the most renowned noses in the industry and they are said to have 18 – 22% concentration of pure perfume oils, making Bond scents some of the strongest on the market. Some of their “pure perfume” scents have 30% perfume oil concentration, including Bond No. 9 Signature and this leading fragrance giant has continued to develop their collection of industry awards for both the founder and the fragrances, with fragrances winning the prestigious FiFi Award in 2009 and 2012 and Rahmé herself collecting the Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) "Innovator of the Year" award in 2012.
