Coleen Rooney was born in Liverpool in 1986 where she grew up together with her parents and three siblings. The columnist, presenter and business woman introduced her own first fragrance line in 2007.
Coleen Rooney’s many talents are reflected in the variety of occupations she’s had throughout her career. She worked as a successful columnist for Closer as well as OK! magazine and based on the title of her first column, she published her autobiography “Welcome to My World” in 2007. Together with Asda’s George as well as Littlewoods she designed and modelled exclusive clothing lines consisting of dresses and leisure wear. Before her own show “Coleen’s Real Women” first aired on ITV, she co-presented a special episode of the television show “Tonight With Trevor McDonald” which focussed on the Rett syndrome, a genetic disorder her sister suffered from. Rooney is spokesperson for the Alder Hey Children’s Charity and frequently uses her Twitter and Instagram accounts to promote various good causes. At the age of 16, Coleen started dating her childhood friend Wayne Rooney who she eventually married at an extravagant wedding in Italy in 2008. The first baby followed in 2009 and their first born Kai was later joined by his younger brothers Klay and Kit.
Her very own fragrance collection was first introduced in 2007 with the floral aquatic Coleen X (2007). The sporty fragrance combines citrus notes in the top with a heart of rose, lily-of-the-valley and marine notes on a base of cedar, amber, patchouli and musk. This was followed by the sweeter floral Coleen X Black (2008) and the citrus scent Coleen X Summer (2010). Her most popular scent is the oriental floral Butterfly (2010). It is presented in a square glass bottle with golden butterfly applications and contains floral notes on a spicy Vanilla heart and warm base of amber, cedar and tonka.
