Juicy Couture Perfume & Women's Fragrance

Juicy Couture is arguably best known for their infamous velour tracksuits most popular at the start of the 21st century. Gela Nash-Taylor and Pamela Skaist-Levy, the founders of the company, started their business in 1995 as Travis Jeans. Travis Jeans mainly focused on the producing and selling of trousers. All though the business didn't do too shabby, they achieved real success after changing their name to Juicy Couture in 1996 and launching their own clothing collections. Gela and Pamela sold Juicy Couture for over £40 million to Liz Claiborne in 2003. They gained fame with the release of their rhinestone-encrusted tracksuits worn by celebrities such as Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez. Even regular people were able to purchase a matching suit for a mere £250+, a bargain compared to what celebrity-friendly clothes will normally fetch. Besides their Juicy bottoms the pair designed different clothing items and accessories such as sunglasses, handbags and perfumes. In 2015 Juicy Couture prepared a fukk re-brand which happened in 2016 with the launch of their #TrackIsBack campaign. Closing all the remaining Juicy Couture stores and opening new boutiques under the name “World of Juicy”.

2006 was the year that this fashion brand entered the world of fragrance with the releases of Juicy Couture and Juicy Girl. Juicy Girl is a floral and fruity fragrance featuring soft notes of tuberose, lily and wild rose housed in a silver engraved bottle topped with red accent cherries. Juicy Couture was the fragrance that set the tone for all other JC fragrances that would follow. Housed in the iconic heavy, square bottle with diamond shaped stopper which can be seen on Couture La La (2012), Eau de Couture (2008), Frosty Couture (2008) and the Viva La Juicy range (2008-). Aside from their tracksuits Juicy Couture gained even more international recognition with the launch of Viva la Juicy (2008). A sweet fragrance that has an unique undertone and is suitable for both teenage girls and young women. When creating this fragrance they knew they couldn't go wrong by combining the notes of amber, caramel, vanilla and sandalwood. The Viva la Juicy fragrance currently has more than ten flankers, most notably Viva La Juicy Noir (2013) and Viva La Juicy Rose (2015).
