Lolita Lempicka Perfume & Women's Fragrance

Lolita Lempicka, born Josiane Maryse Pividal, is a French fashion designer and perfume creator. Her name comes from Nabokav’s novel “Lolita” and Polish Art Deco painter Tamara de Lempicka. Her passion for fashion designing began at a young age as she made Barbie dresses for her dolls herself. As a child she loved fairy tales, princesses and splendid dresses. These elements are still present in her collections and perfume designs. Her dresses are usually attentively and delicately embroidered and her perfume bottles look like they belong in a magical wonderland. Fairytales aren’t her only source of inspiration, however. She was inspired by fashion magazines like Marie Claire, by designers such as Coco Chanel, by poets like Jean Cocteau and painters like Matisse and Modigliani.

Her first collection was presented in 1983, at 29, and her first shop opened one year later in Paris. Always in that same year, in 1984, she had her first fashion show in Tokyo. She finally had her first fashion show in Paris one year later. Before establishing her own fashion house in 1990, she was artistic director for Cacharel (from 1987 to 1990).
Her fame with perfumes started by launching her “Lolita Lempicka” and “Le Premier Parfum” fragrances. Since 1997, “Lolita Lempicka”, with its apple-shaped bottle, has always been a worldwide best-seller. In 2008, Lempicka released “Fleur Défendue” and “Fleur de Corail” (Forbidden Flower and Coral Flower, respectively). “Si Lolita” is an oriental and floral fragrance in a clover-shaped bottle, launched in 2009. “L’Eau En Blanc” is a dreamy woody and floral fragrance, shaped as a lilac and gold apple.
