Mexx Perfume & Women's Fragrance

Mexx is a contemporary Dutch lifestyle company that not only offers clothing but also glasses, sunglasses, shoes, carpets, bed linen and perfumes. Mexx was launched in 1986 by Rattan Chadha. Today Mexx has been sold on and is now a multimillion company with more than 800 stores and outlets throughout the world.

Mexx is mainly geared towards the young and young at heart, their dresses are fun and flirty, Mexx shoes funky and colourful and their fragrances flirty and interesting.

For a time Mexx was part of the Liz Claiborne group, a multi brand company who not only sold clothes but also fragrances. This knowledge of the perfume industry soon became part of the Mexx brand and today there are more than 50 different Mexx colognes and perfumes available.

Most of the Mexx perfumes have a male counterpart, such as Life is Now from 2015. An urban, vital and refreshing fragrance with a fruity top that lends itself into the floral heart. The base wraps up the scent with a mix of vanilla, cedar and musk.

Look Up Now Life Is Surprising For Her (the male version is just called For Him) is the perfect summer scent, the bottle is clear with a fresh orange “sticker” leading your thought to a bowl full of fresh oranges. The scent opens with fruity notes of pear, peach and blackberry that blend perfectly with a summer bouquet of tuberose, gardenia and jasmine. The base is a subtle blend of sandalwood, cedar and vanilla.

Mexx Wild is one of our favourites. This is a warm and sweet perfume, aimed at fearless women who are self-confident and sure of themselves. The strong top of raspberry, bergamot, and neroli is closely followed by the intense and accentuated notes of the heart, hibiscus, rose petals and Frangipani. The base is a confident and gorgeous blend of vanilla, heliotrope and amber. An all year scent which manages to be both elegant and wild at the same time.
