Nautica Perfume & Women's Fragrance

The Nautica brand was created in the United States in 1983 by Sanders and Chu. However, Nautica origins can be found in a 1966 firm, Pacific Coast knitting Mills, that manufactured double-knit fabrics and developed great earnings over the years. The company started by launching a colourful men jackets line, and in 1987, Nautica introduced its first sportswear line while one year later, its women's line appeared. The line suffered losses during the nineties, that lead to the disappearance of the same. The women line later re-appeared in 1996.

Chu is a clothes designer that has always been in charge of the nautical style of the brand and the use of highly versatile fabrics that can be worn in every outdoor situation. The line had their main production site in the United States, that was followed soon by the establishment of a new base in Hong Kong. The brand's subsidiaries are Nautica Jeans Co.; Van Baalen Pacific Corp.; John Varvatos Co.; Nautica Apparel, Inc.; Nautica International, Inc.; Nautica Retail USA, Inc.; Nautica Europe Holdings Ltd.; Earl Jean In.

The products they manufacture are, amongst others: shirts, trousers, denim, belts, skirts, dresses, suspenders, swimwear, sleepwear, leather goods, jewels, watches, gloves, hats, sunglasses, home accessories, fragrances, and products for skin care.

The female range for fragrances started in 1997 with the appearance of Nautica Woman, a floral and fruity fragrance with mandarin, bergamot, rose, amber and grapefruit. My Voyague is a citric fragrance for women launched in 2007 with lime, peony and amber. Bermuda Blue is a flowery fragrance with clementine, honeysuckle, lotus, lily of the valley and syringa.
