Who is Taylor of London?

Taylor of London is a British perfume house, which first opened its doors in 1887. The brand has been known for its excellent perfumes, soaps and toiletries for almost 150 years. It was founded by perfumer John Noakes Taylor and, according to some sources, they were among the first brands to make perfumes from English flowers, making extensive use of traditional floral notes, like lavender, rose, freesia and lily of the valley.
One of their early scents was Calming Lavender, a clean and pure lavender scent with soft notes of warm wood and herbs. Nowadays, they are mostly known for their recreations of discontinued perfumes, like Lentheric Panache and Yardley Lace.
