Ted Lapidus Perfume & Women's Fragrance

Ted Lapidus (born in Paris in 1929) opened his own fashion house in 1958 and was admitted in 1964 into the prestigious haute couture association, La Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne.
Ted Lapidus revolutionized the Paris fashion world in the 1960s with the introduction of high-style blue jeans, ready-to-wear unisex clothing, the tailored military look for women, and, especially, sand-coloured safari suits. His high-profile clients in the 1960s and 1970s included the actors Brigitte Bardot and Alain Delon. He launched his first fragrance in the 70’s.

Ted Lapidus died in December 2008 aged 79.
